With the cat already out of the bag regarding Jaguar’s development of a range-extended electric version of its illustrious Jaguar XJ series Chicago sedan, proclaimed as Jaguar’s salvation, our new and used Jaguar dealer in Chicago is elated about Jaguar’s new designs and very optimistic about future models combining the very best in performance with the most cutting-edge looks to create the ultimate luxury conveyance.
The Jaguar XJ series Chicago sedan will introduce a new generation of safer and more prudent engines, giving fuel economy ranges of up to 40 miles a gallon, and its lightweight body is made from 50% recycled aluminum. Upcoming models will incorporate Jaguar’s “green” hybrid technology currently being developed. It will provide a six speed automatic gearbox, reach 0-60 MPH in less than five seconds, and be artificially limited to reach a top speed of 155 MPH.
“These are exciting times for us at Jaguar. We’re re-making it, re-building it. We’re shaking the market by the scruff of the neck to tell the world: Jaguar’s back” Jaguar Cars managing director Mike O’Driscoll said. “The new XJ is truly beautiful, exhilarating to drive. It is sleek, sporting and sophisticated and brings a daring new spirit to automotive luxury. It offers a seductive mix of striking design, breathtaking performance and engineering without compromise.”
What has not been made clear is whether an electric XE would come in place of, or compounding to, the XJ range-extended electric car Jaguar has planned for 2011. Our new and used Jaguar Chicago dealership is awaiting word as to whether a $407.8 million loan from the European Investment Bank to assist in developing the car, which will imitate the next-generation Jaguar XJ series Chicago sedan, will be approved. While emitting roughly as much CO2 as the Honda Civic Hybrid, this car would have a fuel efficiency of 57 MPG.
This could be exciting news if it comes to our new and used Jaguar dealer in Chicago. The Jaguar XJ series Chicago sedan has always been at pinnacle of luxury, and now with its new design, the XJ series has taken on an entirely new attitude.
