Every holiday season I look forward to getting the seasonal catalog from Neiman Marcus. What a great selection of quality jewelry, clothes and handbags! But, this year something really stood out in my catalog- a Chicago Jaguar XJ. Yes,that’s right. The store has chosen this luxury car to be included in it’s Christmas book.
The 2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition went on sale a few months ago when the big book first came out. Jaguar only made 50 Neiman Marcus editions, so they most likely sold very fast! The good news for Jag enthusiasts is that the new XJ will be sold at your Chicago Jaguar dealer starting early 2010.
This special edition is one well made ride, like all Jaguar vehicles. But this one packs even more of a punch. It is constructed with a durable aluminum and magnesium mix that helps fuel efficiency and overall performance. Speaking of the latter, this is one super charged vehicle. It has a 5-liter, V8 engine that churns 470 horsepower! There are also options on the car to accommodate sport, standard, and winter mode driving.
It is painted with a metallic black color that cannot be found on any other Chicago Jaguar XJ. A few other amenities on the car include a panoramic sunroof, custom interior with matte wood accents, and veneer and leather interior features.
The Neiman Marcus edition comes with a price tag of $105K, including a luggage set. It is not clear what the cost will be on the more widespread Chicago Jaguar XJ that will be sold at area dealerships, but you can expect comparable pricing to last year’s base model.
